ABOUT POLARITY

CLARITY

We believe in always having 100% clarity. We are clear, upfront and honest about our company charges. Our rates are clearly shown and communicated, and our experienced staff will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book a job and/or when they request details.

Our engineers will always show clarity and our invoices show a breakdown of labour, material and any other charges, with a description of work carried out on all invoices and estimates.

CHARGING

We always charge correctly and fairly according to our quoted rates and our policy on overcharging is unequivocal. But in the unlikely event that any of our engineers ever do deliberately disregard this policy a complaints process will be followed and a refund will be made.

ACCOUNTABILITY

In the unlikely event that work is not carried out to our standards. If you are unhappy please call our office, we will try to resolve your issue by sending an engineer back, or our operations manager, at a time that is convenient to you.

Polarity electrics Ltd will never carry out any unnecessary work or talk customers into any work that is not needed under any circumstances.

GUARANTEE

Labour – All of our workmanship carries the company’s written 12 month guarantee for your peace of mind.

Materials – Covered by manufactures’ guarantee.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All of our work is carried out in accordance to our terms and conditions and these can also be found on the back of our invoices.

Our engineers will always show a breakdown of labour, material and any other charges, and a description of work carried out is shown on all invoices and estimates.

A strict £2,500 credit limit is available.

Strictly 30 days credit available from date of invoice.

Monthly itemised invoicing.

Credit facilities will only be granted to those that have used Polarity on a regular basis, over a established period of time.

Credit checks will be carried out and acceptance is subject to receipt of satisfactory approval.

Exceeding your account limit, or missing a payment, will result in the account being suspended until payment is received.

Personal information is held in strict confidence and not passed onto other organisations except for credit purposes.

Polarity reserves the right to withdraw credit facilities if the account becomes overdue or the monthly credit limit is exceeded.

INVOICE WORK

Polarity accounts team will deal with your enquiries. We can offer account facilities to business customers that use us on a regular basis and meet with our strict credit criteria and credit check.

Our accounting procedure provides a convenient, easy and quick way to pay for your electrical services.

Where we cannot resolve any complaints using our own complaints procedure, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for dispute resolution. All tests would be payable via Cash or Card to the engineer upon site completion, or a emailed invoice can be sent out prior to our attendance. However please be mindful that no certification/ information is released until payment is received in full. Once payment is received the report then takes 7 working days to process and send out to you. We usually just require 24-48 hours’ notice on bookings in order to attend site. Our hours are 0730-1600. The prices quoted relate to works being carried out Monday- Friday.
